Shutter Love Tuesdays! Dreaming

ShutterLoveTuesdays

After a busy day of screaming at everyone and refusing to be entertained, the little monster finally goes to sleep. Where I'm sure he dreams about eating and cuddling. He's lucky to have such a nice family that loves him, even though he can be a beast. A cute, cuddly beast.

iheartfaces Pets + Macro Mondays!

Yes, it's a monkey! But, no it's not my monkey (I kinda wish he was now though). We have so many pictures of monkey from the zoo (Richard looovvvves monkeys) so it was kind of hard to choose. This one was my favorite because of his cute expression.

There even cutter (I know shocking right?) pictures of animals on iheart faces! Check them out here:

P.S: Thank you so much for your sweet comment for the other posts and future posts to come! You are all so ridiculously sweet!

P.S.S I also discovered this can apply to Macro Mondays as well go here for other awesome shots!:http://lisaschaos.com/

Self Portrait

Yeah, I've probably been through like four hundred of these before I finally decided on one. I'm so bad-a! My highlights need to be redone (will I get them redone soon?.....no) and I wear green eyeshadow! That's right! Life's to short to not wear crazy eyeshadow colors! Even if people do tell you look silly!

Serious face

I've never done something like this before. It's so silly that it makes me so nervous. I feel like if I post this someone will bite me. (I know it's just a computer). Anyway, this shot was a mistake, but I really like the way it turned out. The river is all twisty and stuff so anyone who looks at this won't get too bored. You should check out the website though, so many people did such beautiful work!

View from the church

Every time we turn into the church parking lot you get hit suddenly with this gorgeous view. It's amazing! The pictures I took don't do it justice. Every time I look at it I can hear a choir of angels singing in my head.

I love these little plant.....things. They look like little fruits that you can eat, but they're not. Not that I tried or anything....
It took a lot of maneuvering to get the light in this shot right. Doesn't the tree look creepy?

This is near the church so yes I am still on topic. I just love the vines all tangled and branched out everywhere. It makes something you see everyday much more interesting!

Lots of Love!

More Chicago

Sorry about the recent lack of updating, I won't even try to make a good excuse up. Here's the second part of our Chicago trip. These are primarily from the Art Institute of Chicago. This was one of my favorite parts! (except for the modern art part of the museum where there was this big picture of someone licking someone's eyeball, I really tried to appreciate but I failed.)
The lions outside the museum.
Yes, this is the real painting! All of these are! It was so cool to be able to be there and actually see the strokes and the colors. I used my camera to focus on a lot of them to see the details of what the artist did.

The best painting ever! This one made the trip worth while.

You can see the dots! It's so cool!

 What the freak?! Who's that?!
 Me being reeeaaaal classy!
A close up of one of my favorites!

I love the colors of the two above. They're so pretty!
This is a little out of place, but the building in front is really old and the building in the back is really new. Thought is was pretty cool.

Someone asked why the artist would make a portrait of such an odd looking person. I almost took away their ticket and told them to go back to your elementary art class.

 Monet <3 enough said!

Chicago! Field museum and other things!

Chicago is the best! Even though it is the best, I totally forgot that I went there with my husband a while back, until now!!!!!
This is the field museum (coolest place in the world!)

The awesomeness that is inside the field museum. (haha awesomeness is a word!)

Me with elephants, I just noticed that one elephant is stabbing the other! :O

Richard looking at the most complelte skeleton of a T-Rex in the world.

Other cool dinosaur, this one is fake though.

The aquarium, we didn't go in, but I still saw it!

Weirdest little water park I've ever seen! There's this computer image of a girl and once in a while she'll spit water out of mouth. Weird, but still pretty cool!

I have a lot of other pictures, but I'll have to post them later.

Thanks!

Baby Eli!

These are not all my photos! Most of these my mom took.(okay, okay she took all of these)  She took these to show off the blanket she knitted.  Not only is she a fabulous knitter, she makes the cutest babies in the world! (but I'm biased) I just tweaked these a little bit. Emphasis on the little if the italics don't do it for ya.

I wanted blue eyes! Why does he get them? Oh, but you can't be mad at this little one. Especially when I live six hours away and I don't really have to take care of him.

He's probably looking at mom in this one awwwww!Well I'm grateful I can have such cute pictures of a cute baby on my blog without going through the process of actually having one. Thanks mom!

State College things

We've taken lots of pictures over the past two weeks, but I've been having a hard time liking them. I think It was just a phase (hahah phase) because when I went on a walk yesterday (all by my lonesome that's what happens when I'm not so busy and Richard is in law school) I went crazy and here are some of the things I saw.
I love the bus system here! It's so convenient especially since we only have one car. I also liked this ladies sweater you could see the purple miles away!
Flower, enough said.

Flower, with bug, still pretty.

Flower with a bee that was a very good model or it was dead......anyway

This picture was taken on a very windy day, but I think it turned out pretty good. Hopefully I can think of something else to take a picture of instead of flowers.

Lots of Love!

Let's get some SHOES!!

I LOVE my wedding shoes! I can never get enough of them! They're the shoes  that come to my mind when listening to the David Bowie song called "Let's dance"  "put on your red shoes and let's dance the blues!"    So my hubby and I did a photo shoot of them. (yes, my hubby likes to do this with me, just don't tell him I told you that!)

We used the railings of our porch so I could use the trees as our background. It worked out pretty well.

Richard I couldn't decide between the two so I put them both up.

Well, can't say this is going to be the last time Richard and I do something like this with my wedding shoes. I can see we have some things to work on, but it was way phun! Lots of love!
